The Call

Can you imagine the Middle East not as a place of conflict, but as a place of blessing, where the Arabs and Jews worship the Lord together? As impossible as this may seem, this is the dream of God’s heart.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance." Isaiah 19:23-25
Throughout history the Holy Spirit has inspired remnants of believers worldwide to stand in the gap and keep the flame of God’s dream for the peoples of the Middle East alive. For generations many have faithfully sacrificed their time, their finances and even their lives, in prayer for and in service to the sons of Egypt, the sons of Assyria, and the sons of Israel.
Today we are entering into a new season, a new era in the Church, the time of the fulfillment of all things. And we believe the Holy Spirit is inviting these faithful remnants to unite together, joined by the rest of the Bride of Christ, so that as One Body we might walk a journey together with the Lord to see Isaiah 19 fulfilled.
The Unveiling
As a first step in this journey, we sense the Holy Spirit is calling a remnant of the body of Christ, worldwide to gather in Langley, BC, August 12-14, 2010. Together we will spend extended times in worship and waiting on the Lord, entering into His presence and posturing our hearts to receive revelation from Him.
The gathering is called The Unveiling because we sense that as a first step God wants to begin to address the many “veils” that cover our minds concerning the peoples of the Middle East and bring us into alignment with His heart and perspective. Because whether we have been affected by the persistent anti-Semitism in our society or by replacement theology in the Church or by the fear and judgments that have unknowingly crept into our hearts as Westerners since our 9-11 wake up call to the world of Islamic terrorism, only in Christ can all of these “veils” can be removed.
If you feel this call resounds in your heart, let nothing hinder your obedience to the Lord in whatever way He asks you to be involved.
